Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how TalktoFit ("TalktoFit", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the TalktoFit mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
TalktoFit is operated by Mustafa Cihat Aykaş ("Data Controller"). For privacy-related requests, contact us at support@talktofit.app.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information when you use the Service:
- Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and optional display name when you register or sign in (including via Apple Sign In or Google).
- Profile information: information you provide during onboarding or in your profile, such as gender, date of birth, height, weight, preferred units, language, coach persona preference, and profile photo if you choose to upload one.
- Workout data: exercises, sets, reps, weights, durations, distances, notes, routines, and workout history you log manually or via voice commands.
- Voice and audio data: when you use voice logging, the app accesses your device microphone to capture audio for workout commands. Audio is processed to produce a transcript and structured workout actions. We do not use your microphone except when you actively initiate voice input.
- AI coach interactions: messages and context you send to the in-app AI coach, including workout-related questions and program suggestions, to provide coaching features.
- Subscription and billing status: information about your TalktoFit Pro subscription status, trial period, renewal, and billing issues as reported by Apple, Google, and our subscription provider. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Device and usage data: app interactions, feature usage, crash reports, performance data, device type, operating system version, and similar technical information collected through analytics and error monitoring tools.
- Notifications: if you enable push notifications, we store a device push token and notification preferences to deliver reminders and service messages.
3. How we use information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service, including voice-to-workout logging and AI coaching;
- Authenticate you and maintain your account;
- Sync and store your workouts, routines, and progress analytics;
- Process subscriptions and enforce access to Pro features;
- Send service-related communications and, where permitted, notifications;
- Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse or fraud;
- Understand aggregate product usage and improve features.
Our analytics practices are designed to avoid sending raw voice transcripts, chat message content, or free-form workout notes to analytics tools. We may send event names, counts, and categorical metadata instead.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with:
- Supabase — authentication, database hosting, and secure backend functions that process voice transcripts, workout data, and AI coach requests;
- ElevenLabs — real-time speech-to-text processing for voice workout commands (via our backend);
- AI service providers — third-party models used through our backend to interpret voice commands and power AI coach responses;
- PostHog — product analytics;
- Sentry — error and crash reporting;
- RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement verification;
- Apple and Google — when you use Sign In with Apple, Google Sign-In, or in-app purchases through their app stores;
- Service providers — vendors who help us host, secure, or support the Service under contractual confidentiality obligations;
- Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting support@talktofit.app.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to data portability. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Users in Türkiye may exercise rights under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) by contacting us.

8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate.
